This is why I love these link-ups: they challenge me. I would never have thought to pair this combo, but I think it works! It's like getting a new outfit but with clothes you already have. What do y'all think of the scarf?
Thank you Matt for photographing me! |
Here is the piece de resistance...
I used to hate taking pictures of just myself; pre-mamahood I never would have participated in something like Real Momma, Real Style or WIWW. I didn't like how I looked. Now having lived through miracle of child birth and raising this child, I feel more beautiful than I ever have and I truly believe it shows. I mean, look at that baby. I grew him inside me. He's half me. If that's not something to feel great about, I don't know what is.
Daddy got in on the fun, too. |

I think the smile in the picture with your baby is the prettiest smile ever! Cute oufit and even cuter family. :)
Your post totally made me tear up girlfriend! I totally feel the way you do about the whole "cooked that kid in my belly" thing. Mmmm, love my kiddos and yours...A.DOR.A.BLE!
Glad you're smiling...it shows how happy you are!
Now on to that outfit: love the shorts. I myself wear a lot of this length, they make your legs look good! You look so cute and happy 10 years. My hubby (Matt also) just celebrated 10 too! Yay for awesome milestones!

OMG that picture of you and your son! Love it!
To answer your question, I do feel that my perspective as a teacher gradually changed after having my first-born and then seeing how much work it is to raise them let alone prep them for school. I always took for granted that by the time I had students in grade 1, they already knew how to hold a pencil.
So, you are bilingual, too? ¿Hablas espaƱol?
Can we take a minute to recognize how much I LOVE the title of this post??!!! So cute! Love the dressed up shorts look...totally have to rock this when the weather gets nasty hot. Hope you guys had a great anniversary!
