Beyonce has this song out called "Halo" and whenever I listen to it, I can't help but think of husbandly. He thinks this is silly, but it's the truth. He is such an amazing husband and always does the sweetest things for me. Plus, he makes me laugh and he makes me feel better when I start to freak out about swine flu. He goes running with me, he cooks dinner, he does little things that no one else in this world would do. The other day when I heard "Halo," it was almost like it had been written with my hubs in mind. Now, it was probably written with Jay-Z in mind, but I can't see his halo. I sure can see MGK's though. My favorite part of the song is this:
"Everywhere I'm looking now,
I'm surrounded by your embrace
Baby I can see your halo
You know you're my saving grace
You're everything I need and more
It's written all over your face
Baby I can see your halo
Pray it won't fade away."
My husband has a halo. I might be the only one who can see it, but it's there. I'm so stinkin' lucky to have him! I encourage you to look for the halo in your significant other. It's there, I promise.
