Quasimodo

I woke up this morning looking like Quasimodo. My eye was swollen shut, crusted with what can only be called eye snot.  I couldn't in good conscience go to a room full of healthy and happy eight year olds and give them conjunctivitis too.  Just couldn't do it.  Not only do I have pink eye but I also have a sinus infection and the viral infection that my darling boy gave me.

So yeah, I had to miss the first day of school, which kills me.  Plus, I'm at home but the doctor said to leave Toph at the daycare until at least 3:00 to let the eye drops start working, otherwise I'll just give it back to him.

This too shall pass. Say it with me.  Now we just need to get Matt well.
