I got busy this morning in kitchen, baking the desserts. The pumpkin roll came out really good, I know hubs will take a picture of it when the big day arrives. The pies are in the oven and they look good, aside from one little snafoo.
I have always heard that adding eggs to hot liquids could make them cook if you're not careful. I threw caution to the wind this morning and added melted butter to my beaten eggs and then turned my back to work on something else. I turned back around and it looked like someone had added rice to my mixture. Hmm. Upon further investigation, I realized that the "rice" was actually the hot melted butter cooking the beaten eggs.
