Friday is a good day to talk about your favorites, right? Here are a few of my favorites on this lovely Friday:
- This girl and her song "Rollin' in the Deep." It's one of those roll the windows down, turn the volume waaay up and sing your heart out. I love British songstresses; give me Adele, give me Amy Winehouse, give me Kate Nash. Love them.
- Teacher Appreciation Week. My students brought so many sweet treats for me and the PTA and administration hooked us up with goodies. I loved this week. In a time where education budgets are getting slashed, my colleagues are losing their jobs and politicians are bashing teachers, it's nice to feel appreciated.
- Mother's Day. I like celebrating the awesome moms in my life and I happen to love being celebrated. Win win. Here are me and my boy on Mother's Day last year:

- Pinterest. My friend Jenny of at Crash Test Mommy (go check her out) sent me an invite after i whined on Twitter that no one had invited me. If you need an invite, just comment with your email. I'll invite you. Pinterest is a party that everyone should be invited to. Beware: you will lose a lot of time once you start clicking and pinning. I found this sweet baby while clicking around:
